Cholera is one of Bangladesh’s oldest residents. Dhaka, the country’s fast-growing capital, must endure not one but two epidemics every year. The victims of this killer disease pour into the Cholera Hospital, where staff routinely save thousands of lives. Filmed during a recent outbreak, “Dhaka’s Cholera Wars” documents the courage and resilience of Bangladeshis as they fight this age-old disease.
